The ceremony entitled Forgotten Hero – in memory of Julian Eugeniusz Kulski a.k.a. “Goliath”, organized by the Kulski Foundation in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Washington, has just come to an end.
The opening speeches were given by the Polish Ambassador to the United States, Marek Magierowski, Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski and the President of the Kulski Foundation, Małgorzata Bogusz.
The event included a screening of the film “Goliath – The Forgotten Hero”, depicting the extraordinary life of the exceptional figure that was Julian E. Kulski. The screening was preceded by speeches by the filmmakers @Witold Tabaka and @Tomasz Sanpruch. Announcing the film, Catharine Kulski, widow of the late Professor, said: “The film we are about to watch shows a real hero. Julian was my hero and my husband. We?ve been together for 30 years. For over three decades, every single day, I?ve seen how important Poland was to him ? how much it meant to him. I sincerely hope that the film we are going to watch together will bring you even closer to Julian’s patriotic story?.
Among the participants in the event, we had representatives of the Polish and American administrations, academia, and Polish communities, as well as representatives from the world of culture, art, and business.

We would also like to thank all the guests attending the ceremony who made it so special.
