Invitation for a special screening of the film “The Children of Warsaw ‘44”
On July 29 at 18:00, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, a special screening of the film “The Children of Warsaw ‘44” will take place at Kino Muranów, under the patronage of the Kulski Foundation.
his moving film, directed by Jolanta Kessler-Chojecka, tells the stories of Polish youth and children during the Warsaw Uprising and throughout the German captivity. It serves as a unique testament to our compatriots’ heroic fight and suffering
The film also features the memories of our patron, Julian Eugeniusz Kulski, a hero of the Uprising, who shared his experiences from the time of the German occupation. Although he is no longer with us, his story and testimony remain in our hearts.
Post-film Discussion
Following the screening, a discussion will be held, moderated by Jarosław Wojciechowski. The panel will include director Jolanta Kessler-Chojecka, historian Grzegorz Majchrzak from IPN, historian Michał Wojciuk from the Warsaw Uprising Museum, and Małgorzata Bogusz, President of the Management Board of the Foundation.
