‘Biotechnology as an engine of innovation – Polish-American cooperation conference’, that has taken place in Washington D.C., is over!
Two roundtable discussions were attended, among others, by Adam Niedzielski, Minister of Health, Marcin Martyniak, Undersecretary of State at Ministry of Health, Prof. Radosław Sierpiński, President of Medical Research Agency, Prof. Łukasz Szumowski, Minister of Health in 2018-2020, as well as Polish and American medical and systems experts, industry and NGO representatives.
The conference participants discussed transnational methods and tools to boost science, as well as the opportunities offered by it in biotechnology. The debates held during the conference became a platform to exchange experience and good practices, present relevant state instruments that support the healthcare sector, as well as to strengthen the scientific partnership between Poland and the United States.
