Construction Permission for the Monument to the Presidents of Great Warsaw – Stefan Starzyński and Julian S. Kulski received

We are proud to announce that today the project of the Monument to the Presidents of Great Warsaw – Stefan Starzyński and Julian S. Kulski received the official construction permission! This is extremely important news for both the Foundation’s team, as well as all those involved in the project.

The project to build the Monument was initiated by Julian Eugeniusz Kulski – Warsaw Insurgent, academic lecturer, long-term associate of the World Bank, and privately the son of one of the President of Great Warsaw. Due to the extremely demanding location of the monument (proximity to the UNESCO protection zone, the Royal Castle, the city’s main communication arteries, etc.), and also taking into account the need to obtain over several dozen approvals and permissions, the administrative work related to this investment lasted over 2 years. This is the reason why today’s decision is so important to us – it means that in the coming days it will be possible to officially launch the construction works and move to the final stage of this extremely relevant initiative.

Efficient implementation of the Monument construction project would not be possible without the contribution and commitment of our numerous sponsors, partners, and the legal partner of the Monument construction – DWF Poland. Many thanks to Adv. Oskar Tułodziecki and Adv. Małgorzata Lesiak-Ćwikowska for their enormous personal commitment and work.

The official unveiling of the Monument to the Presidents of Great Warsaw is scheduled for September 2021. More information soon!
