Soon the premiere of the documentary “Goliath” – the forgotten hero

The documentary film “Goliath – the  forgotten hero” is made within the framework of “Cultivating patriotic values ​​and historical memory” program of the Kulski Foundation.

The documentary film will be the story of Julian Eugeniusz Kulski – the hero of the Warsaw Uprising and the son of the President of occupied Warsaw. The filmmakers showed in the film many years of activities of prof. Kulski focused on building Poland’s international position and strengthening Polish-American relations. In the background, among others, photos from the professor’s private archive and his cooperation with the World Bank as an architect. The audience will also have the opportunity to meet the professor and his wife Catharine privately in their apartment in Washington.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Washington – Piotr Wilczek, Advisor to President Andrzej Duda – Ambassador Bogusław Winid, as well as Director of the Warsaw Uprising Museum Jan Ołdakowski also appear in the film.

The producers of the film are Tomasz Sańpruch and Małgorzata Bogusz. The film was screened in Washington and Warsaw – the last recordings ended in June 2019. Currently, the final editing and audio works are in progress.

The premiere of the film is scheduled for 30 July, 2019 at “Iluzjon” cinema in Warsaw.
